Easy-reading

I’m really struggling to finish a book since having DD. I prefer to sit and read for 4+hours at a time, so 40 mins here and there is just not doing it for me. Such a shame, as I used to LOVE reading and would get through a book a day on hols. Anyway, I thought it might help to read something really easy, so I can feel like I’ve read loads of it in a short time 🤷🏼‍♀️

Might be a silly idea. But, any suggestions?

I like British/Irish female authors, murder, thriller, scandal, courtroom, anything except romance.

I struggle to get into books easily since having kids. I agree it’s partly because on only having short spurts of time to get into them and being knackered all the time.

Authors I have found easier are Liane Moriarty. Literally inhaled all of her books and now in the sad position of waiting for her to write the next one. Female lead stories mostly set in Australian suburbia.

Also recently enjoyed Matt Haig, the midnight library is a good place to start and was fast to get into.
