This book is currently free for Kindle users.

Has anyone read it? What do you think?

There are so many free books to download at the moment that is hard to choose one that is decent. This one has some 5* reviews but they sound like friends and family to me.

Is it worth a read?

Here is the first book she has written:

This one isn't free on Kindle. It's a few quid.

Again, the reviews seem to be from people who know the author. Red flag to me is that it appears to have been self published. If you order the paperback, then it will be sent to you by the author themselves. Very odd.

Seems no publishing company was involved, yet another self published follow up book to this one has already been released by the author.

Has thus author got money to burn by keep producing her own books or have various publishers missed a real gem? Could these books be picked up as the start of a series by a well respected publisher? Or are they trash and deserve to remain in the big publishers' bin?

Could we Mumsnetters have discovered a real good read written by an unknown author?

Or, was it free on Kindle for a reason?
