Hi all we’re super keen to hear any views from parents of current or recent pupils at Oundle on the day to day reality in terms of the academics. Our daughter is kind, creative and loves to get involved but she’s not an alpha type - she is dyslexic though she has strong underlying ability based on her recent CAT scores. She works hard and with lots of effort is just about keeping up at her London prep despite the challenges which her dyslexia presents but we’re concerned that at Oundle it would be a daily struggle/too much pressure and she would end up losing her confidence. Whilst we love the facilities and it’s obviously an amazing school we really want her to feel happy and to see her thrive wherever she is. Do any parents here have experience of how academically pacy/pressured it is and what level of nurture/support there is for pupils who may be a little slower or even falling behind whether because of SpLDs or otherwise? Thank you so much and please do DM if preferred!
