Hello,
Does anyone here have any recent information or opinions about Ardingly College?
We have received an offer for Year 9 boarding for our daughter and are currently trying to gather feedback from parents whose children study there.
I would be very grateful if anyone could share real experiences regarding:

• the boarding atmosphere,
• pastoral care,
• how international students adapt,
• the attitude of the staff,
• communication with parents.

We visited the school and my daughter really liked it, but naturally we are concerned about how things are in reality once children actually start there. I also saw that the school will have a new Head from September 2026. Thank you in advance for any opinions or information!

or a Year 9 boarding offer at Ardingly, the most useful thing you can do now is ask to speak directly to the housemistress rather than going through admissions — a 10-minute call will tell you more about the actual day-to-day experience than any open day. Ask specifically: how many of this year's Year 9 intake are full boarders (versus day or weekly), what the weekend occupancy typically looks like in her house, and how they handle new-entry boarders in the first half-term.
