Is teddies more selective than before?

my DS's school says that teddies oxford is now quite selective

is this true?

Yes.
current head has pushed up the entrance and academics - they could as remain oversubscribed and the previous head had started this process.
Our prep used to get pretty much anyone into teddies whose parents chose it, however not in the past few years.
Boarding is easier to get into than a day place, latter are only 15% of the school and are very popular with local families.

Yes. Don’t put it down as your insurance place. It’s really competitive.
