Hello, does anyone have any experience, recommendations, knowledge of Malvern Prep schools, particularly boarding schools?
I'd be keen to hear from anyone about The Downs or The Elms?

Thank you

@Sunny1234567 thanks for your response. If you don't mind, could you let me know more about your experiences with The Downs?

I have two very happy children at The Downs. Excellent teachers, very supportive. Great after school activities too. Would highly recommend it! We looked at a number of schools before choosing The Downs. Both children loved their Taster Day and didn't want to leave!

I’ve had two children (daughter and son) go through The Downs. Absolutely fantastic school ! They were both so happy and enjoyed all the extra curricular and sports that they offered. Both went onto the Malvern College senior school and did so well. Would highly recommend taking a look.

Thank you both for your replies.

Did either of you have experience of the boarding provision?

My two were day pupils but did quite a few nights of flexi boarding to be with their friends who were boarders and absolutely loved it. A real home from home and always so much for them to do and get involved in. There’s games rooms and lots of activities both at weekends and week nights. The dorms were always cosy, with lovely staff to look after them. I used to think what lucky children they were be part of such a wonderful school !

A friend of ours child boarded at the Elms and loved it. If we lived closer we would have sent our kids to the Elms
