Wondering if anyone can advise as although we can have DC home over the weekends their exchange is staying they will have to board in the week. Is this generally the norm or will the families in France be annoyed? Would the school be putting on extra for any girls that have boarder exchanges? We are considering going somewhere "special" for the weekend with them to make up for it. Has anyone done this before and what would you advise? I don't want DC to miss out on the opportunity but it feels difficult to navigate.
