My son, who will be going into Year 9, will be boarding full time from September. We live abroad so he will only be able to come home during the school holidays. We have no experience of boarding so this is all very new to us, and with it being a school he hasn't attended before, we would like to make the transition as smooth as possible.
What did your child like the most? What things did they find difficult to adjust to? Anything that makes the move to boarding easier? How did you prepare your child?
