Sixth Form for Neuro Diverse DD

DDs current school will be merging next year so post GCSE 2025 we are looking for alternatives.

She is not academic, she will achieve mid range grades and has ADHD/ASD so looking for a school with great learning support/SEN slant and really good pastoral care. In terms of A levels she will be ok for a couple maybe but also looking for schools that offer foundation/BTEC in IT or Business etc or other vocational courses.

I'm now really open about locations as I'm struggling to find anything that really fits the bill nearby.

Any suggestions?

Greshams in Norfolk offer a Btec in business. It may be in the wrong part of the U.K. for you and I don't know about the pastoral bit but a friend sent her ds there for the 6th form for Btec in agriculture that is well regarded.

Pangbourne fits that bill and have increased the number of BTECs on offer and students taking them in recent years

Some vague idea of geography might help…

Bloxham might fit the bill
