Tonbridge School

To anyone who has received outcome for Tonbridge School entrance exams in the past years can you please share when (specific date of you can!) in January you got them? Feels like a 2 month wait is long enough already wondering when we'll hear from them. TIA

The school told us they will send results by post in the middle of January. We are also waiting for the result for 2026.

I asked last December via email. They replied, "As you live in the UK, you will receive the correspondence via post."

My son received an offer a few years ago.
We got a letter about the 10-12 January as far as I remember. We decided on a different school in the end but later regretted our choice.

It's a lovely school , we hope DS will have the opportunity to move for 6th form. Good luck 🤞

The sent out result 11th January last year. I heard from friends.

I heard from friends that they send unconditional offer by post in the UK. Others (provision offer etc) by email.

Thanks for all the info, much appreciated! Guess they post out on Monday or Tuesday, ready to be delivered around Wednesday. Not long to go, also fingers crossed no email comes through from them.

Postman has come and gone. No news yet 😔

Keep checking inbox. Offers could be by email as well. The waiting continues, we should hear within a week from now.

I checked with admission by email today. They said, " The 2026 letters will be coming out on Monday, 15th January."

i emailed them to check timings and whether it was by post / email, they said it will be this afternoon 'via the portal' with follow-up letters by post

It's agony, isn't it? Takes me back to last October waiting for our 11+ results.
