Charterhouse or Teddies?

Ongoing issue, but new post to raise profile of this last query (I promise) - THANK YOU MUMSNET for all your support so far!
Long story short, we have battled our way onto the wait list for both Teddies and Charterhouse for this September. Can anyone help with insight for either pls? DD entering Yr 9 - very very sporty, outgoing, really talented at drama, middle road academically, currently flexi and super keen to pop up to weekly. In the albeit unlikely event she gets both, I'd love to get some behind the scenes to noodle on in the meantime! X

If she's into drama, I'm sure you've seen this but it looks amazing and beyond what most public schools can offer https://www.stedwardsoxford.org/whats-on/the-north-wall/

Hang in there on the waitlist there is always movement & am sure she will get sth. Massive advocate for Teddies it’s a really inspiring place to be part of they include whole family at so many events & being in the heart of Oxford is fantastic. Read recent Good Schools Guide entry which is a very accurate overview of direction of school & ethos.

My DD does drama at Charterhouse and LOVES it. The school, IMHO is outstanding and the Ben Travis Theatre where she would spend a lot of time is state of the art. CH only started taking girls 2 years ago (my DD was a 'founding girl' as her brother (about to sit his A levels) is there. A bit bumpy to start but all ironed out now so would highly recommend it. The Headmaster is a class act too.

A big Yes for Charterhouse - have had two go through there, a boy and a girl. Both love/loved it.
