I'm looking for somewhere friendly and diverse for a UK holiday break, 2 kids 10 and 5. Any suggestions welcome please ☺️.
Kinda want to go somewhere that's maybe 2 hours from London.

It's probably longer than 2 hours but Cornwall is my go to for a UK break.

It is absolutely stunning, each beach is different, there are lots of outdoor activities to do, we love it. In particular around Porthleven.
Praa Sands is a lovely beach, lots of places to stay in the area.

Second Cornwall. I flew to Newquay with my young sons in less than an hour. Friends drove in 4.5 hours.

Have also done and woukd recommend UK breaks in the Cotswolds, Isle of Wight four times which is my boy's favourite, Windsor, Bournemouth, Margate & Ramsgate, Lincoln, Tenby, Shrewsbury, Brighton and Southend which is the closest seaside to me.

Depends when you are going and what you want to do.

If summer then Cornwall and Devon are nice.

If winter/autumn/early spring then nearly any UK city. Flying is cheaper and quicker than taking the train/driving so you have more places you can get to quickly.

Try East Anglia or the Suffolk coast. Lovely coast and lovely people. Norfolk, and Suffolk hold a special place in my heart.
