Oh my gosh, everything about the story is heartbreaking, from start to end. The poor mother, everything had been horrendous for her. I pray that some day she can find peace.

How sad for this family. I don't know how you survive this on top of all the other struggles.
I wonder if violence was involved in the relationship breakdown why the child couldn't be left with the dad.
Waste of a beautiful life ☹️.

This is awful. I’ve read the article linked but I don’t quite understand how the little girl ended up in the bin?!

Accident. She fell in when she wasn’t supervised and couldn’t get herself out. O

This is tragic
But there's something else another case I always remember
I honestly don't know all of the facts,
But does anyone remember the black mum who had two sets of twins one pair after the other and left them at home whilst she went to the shops
But I think as candles were used the house they caught fire and all the children died
She was sentenced to a jail sentence and for all I know may still be there now
What always bothered me was how she was treated/vilified by the press as a 'bad ghetto mum' when it seemed she'd had no social services help and was left to struggle
I've always honestly thought if she'd been white help would've been eaaily and eagerly offered after the first twins were born and possibly better housing too; so by the time the second set came along she to me, from what I read/viewed was left floundering with 4 babies on her own
And very little if any help
Absolutely Rotten too
