The Click Start Peckham Digital Accelerator Zone (DAZ) is "a pioneering collaboration between the Creative Computing Institute at University of the Arts London, UKBlackTech, and the London Borough of Southwark. This course is part of the new nationwide Click Start training programme developed by the Institute of Coding (IoC) and funded by Nominet."

Are you:
• Aged 18 – 30?
• From a black or ethnic minority background?
• Living or working in south London?
• Interested in developing your technical skills?
• Looking to take the next step in your career?

There are a variety of courses (with rolling start dates), some online, some in-person in: Web development, Introduction to Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence.

If you're on Twitter the link above has been cited in a number of Tweets so the accounts might be of interest, https://x.com/search?q=https%3A%2F%2Fpeckhamdaz.com%2F&src=typed_query&f=live

The Click Start program is being run in a variety of different permutations by various partner organisations (current list of courses). Anyone who is eligible and enrolled on a course also seems to be eligible to apply for internships through the 'Get My First Digital Job' website https://www.getmyfirstdigitaljob.co.uk which is a partnership between Click Start and the BCS (British Computer Society).

This scheme appears to have been running since June 2023 but it was utterly new to me and I discovered it only because the BCS tweeted about it this morning (pointing people to info about the scheme for employers) and I follow them :)
