My daughter has her hair in plaits for school. Swimming is mid week. What is your hair wash regime after swimming for a child?

My mother said "no washing until your hair is dry" so I've carried on that tradition. Once wet swimming hair is dry, I follow usual routine - including oil and leave in mask for after swim. Seems to do the trick.
