Reaching out to fellow BMN

Please help me find a nice restaurant to celebrate a friend's birthday in London.

Suitable for families with children / young teens.
Music not too loud
Must have fish or vegetarian dishes, we love grilled tilapia with Akyeke -

If there is a nice restaurant you know of please let me know.

Thanks

Chuku's in seven sisters? It's Nigerian tapas run by a brother and sister team. Food is v yummy.

I was also going to recommend Chuku's.

805 on Old Kent Rd is old faithful. Stalwart Naija restaurant.

Also, maybe try Enish. I’ve only been to the one on Finchley Road, but I know there’s a few dotted around London.

I've also been to Enid in Finchley Road. I have some photos of the food if you want me to post them!

Oops, sorry "Enish".

Stupid auto correct!

I went with some Nigerian friends. I really enjoyed the food but can't tell you how well it was cooked as it's the first time I'd tried it. However, my friends liked it a lot ...

I’m Naija and can confirm that the food at Enish is good/well cooked. It’s definitely not as good as the food at 805, but it’s still very nice.

Thank you for all the recommendations

Isibani at Knightsbridge and Ikoyi in Mayfair are higher end, Pitanga in Fulham, Enish and 805 are good too.

DeeCeeCherry · 27/03/2023 21:33

I like Gold Coast in South Norwood

justpreeing · 27/03/2023 23:56

Enish old Kent road has a buffet on Sundays. There were some Ivorian dishes there. Best to call and ask

Stork in central london is another good one.
