Recommendation for electrolysis

Hi everyone- I’d be grateful for some advice. Since I’ve started peri menopause I’ve started to get white hairs on my chin. They can’t be lasered because there is no pigment. I know electrolysis is an option but it’s not very popular any more and I’m a bit cautious because I remember horror stories about it causing scarring on black skin. Maybe things are better now? Does anyone have any experience or salons that can recommend from personal experience. I’m based in north London.

I too suffer with those pesky chin hairs, which I used to hit wax off. I now use electrolysis and I highly recommend it. It’s not the most comfortable procedure but the results are amazing and, no scarring.

@Maze76 Thanks so much for replying. That’s reassuring. Can you let me know where you go? I still haven’t but the bullet because I would like to know the salon is experienced with black skin.

You are welcome - I fully understand your reservations, our skin is so sensitive to heat that you have to be sure that you are in safe hands. I get my treatment at a salon in www.jhskincareclinic.co.uk.
Great salon- I also have DPN / mole removal done on my face there- my skin is so much brighter and healthier since getting treated.
