I got up to 46 fulfillimg the stereotype

now I have a line across my forehead. ☹️

does anyone use anti ageing products? I'm slightly concerned about reinoids and such because my skin is more prone to hyperpigmenation.

my mother has only ever used Astral but I seem to be forming my dad's wrinkle pattern. His lines were all straight across, horizontal, on the forehead, and I suspect mine is the first.

thanks.

Do you use sunscreen? Wearing SPF 50 on you face, every day, is the very best skincare advice I can give. And if you’re not using SPF, any skincare is essentially pouring money down the sink.

Yes to what RPM says SPF is non-negotiable. Other than that I have a skincare routine which hasn't failed me yet. I am yet to venture into botox and the like so thus far I keep it simple: hyaluronic serum in the morning and SPF; evening is a good cleanser by Estee Lauder followed by an evening serum like Mandelic acid then the night cream by Estee Lauder. It can be a bit pricey but it's among the small pleasures I indulge in.

Can you recommend a brand of SPF50 for dark skinned dry- normal skin type please?

@Denzelstowel Soltan 50 from boots has never failed me. Also la roche posay is good too!

Thank you

Retinol completely resolved my hyperpigmentation. It was absolutely terrible. I went through Dermatica, so it's prescription strength.

I have friends using retinol like Drunk Elephant, so not as strong but still giving them good and noticeable results, including anti ageing and resolving mild hyperpigmentation.

I would deffo try Dermatica for an anti-ageing regime.

For sunscreen look at Thank You Farmer, Sun Project Factor 50 Water SunScream. I haven't used anything else for 3 years. Leaves no white marks. Buy several bottles at a time, they always sell out!

I discovered it on the Cult Beauty website.
