Indeed @Doubtmyself - but that's not quite the same as Chinese economic colonialism, pushing to brake ties with Britain. Hats off to the Chinese though, they're masters of "divide and rule" aided and abetted by their useful idiots in the west.

Circa 46 minutes you’ll hear how Jamaica needed support for its economy and infrastructure after emancipation but that the country was becoming less useful for Britain after the introduction of free trade laws and did not provide the needed support.

Queen Victoria’s response to the people’s voiced concerns about poverty and poor working conditions was that they should work harder!
