I despair. I really do.

I don't watch the news (I get depressed too easily) so have just learnt about the mass shooting from this thread. .. how awful & tragic.
And of course it should be called what it is - it's US domestic terrorism.

It’s all over the news. And I had the misfortune on clicking on the livestream and watching the whole thing before realising what it was

@Simonjt I never understand this either. Murder/ terrorism, surely taking someone's life is the same - inflicting terror on people. What a bloody world sometimes 😔

I've seen it described ad terrorism .

Usually the differance is if its politically motivated

I heard it referred to as a hate crime on tv.

So, so sad. Haven't been able to properly process it yet

The same reason he isn't described as an adult in most reports even though he's 18.

Oh and the same media outlets who report his hatred of Saqid Khan, criticise the same Saqid Khan for the security measures he takes including when walking his dogs.

Apparently if as a media outlet you want to receive loads of hate messages just invite him or Diane Abbott on your show.

As far as I see it Radio 4 and Channel 4 in the UK are the last two broadcasting bastions of factual information left
Alongside the national Guardian newspaper
All three are not the right leaning UKs way of thinking favourites
And there's, depending who's show it is Radio London too.
