Areas commutable to Basingstoke!

Hi everyone!
Asking wise BMN’ers for advice and inspired by threads elsewhere.

I’m looking for somewhere commutable to Basingstoke (

Reading springs to mind.

Southampton too, although it may be on the limit of your travel time. You could also look at perhaps Woking as it is fast on the trains to BS.

Yeah Reading was one of my options but husband also needs to get to the South Coast for his work every other week where he stays with in-laws so was on the limits of area search.
Southampton is great, Woking and areas closer to London the best but expensive.

I guess I was hoping to find out if anyone has any experience if B/S itself?

Why don't you just want to live in Basingstoke?

@Sprig1! That’s it I am also curious about B/S as it’s really an area I knew little about until this job came up.
