What are you cooking for Christmas?

Apologies if this has already been done but in the run up to Christmas, I am keen to cook a west African (Nigerian/Sierra Leonan) menu on Christmas Day, eve and Boxing Day
Also interested in Caribbean contributions as don't really want to stick with traditional turkey and potatoes etc
I usually make jollof rice, turkey, a few crochet potatoes on the side, pigs in blankets and broccoli but as we eat jollof rice every week, nothing feels special so to speak
Please inspire me on main dishes you traditionally cook on Christmas Day, snacks eaten, drinks drink etc plus indications of where you purchase these items

Christmas Day breakfast will be ackee and saltfish with green banana.
Foe lunch we're having turkey, lamb, rice n peas, macaroni pie, red cabbage, roast potatoes, carrots and parsnips. I cannot wait!

West African Peanut stew is delicious and a good option for any vegetarians with the sweet potato version.

Black Latin American mum here so she’ll be cooking Tamales in banana leaves, a tradition for Xmas.

We usually have a roasted leg of lamb, with rice and roasted sweet potatoes, and then some nice additions from DH's culture. We get to celebrate 2 Christmas meals too! 24th and 25th. Satisfies all sides round.

Me and DD had Oxtail with white rice. It was divine.
