I love the fact that it's just a normal ad with no self affirmation and all the burden that comes with having afro hair. Love it.

WHAAAATT! I never thought I’d see this in my lifetime. So, is this advert only going to be at Xmas, cos obviously. It’s only at Xmas that black people touch their hair

Yeah I get the Xmas sentiment with her receiving a gift, but also it’s a bit weird somewhat suggestive that it’s the only time we care for our hair??
I’m sure it’s made with good spirit but British TV should be ashamed it’s taken this long for black women to have any positive advertisement of their hair.
