Edmontina I lived in North Wales for a while. I never knew! Every time I read a story like this, my heart breaks for the stolen child.
2021 and never a rose named after a black person until now?
I need to buy it, and look on it, enjoy it, and reflect.

Yes me too. I'd like to buy some but It's a sad story to think of when you have the flowers in your vase at home. Taken from your family and everything you know over seas to a strange place. 🥲

@Denzelstowel I'll nominate one as the Denzelstowel BMN bush . I've only a little garden, but love roses! My grandad who was a cleaner grew a big pink rambling rose that smelled of heaven. I'll post a pic when the roses flower next year!
