How to make more mom friends?

I am a single mother and my oldest son is 12, youngest is 2. All my besties moved out of state. I'm struggling with trying to date , finding accountability partners and woman friendships. I live in Ga and it's very lonely and most of my fam live in Ny. I tried to transfer my job but it was declined because all positions in that area were not hiring. How can I make more friends with other moms? I'm struggling to make time for myself but need more friends... my youngest father and I split because he was abusive to me. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Also, not sure if you are religious? Have you looked at local religious groups of your faith ? Some of them have great childcare support, and events, and are very welcoming.

It's really tough being a single Mom, but wanted you to know that I'm thinking of you, and hoping for better days to come. Really hope that you can get over to NY soon. x

Thank you for information. I'm financially stable. But thank you. I probably should join a church and get acquainted with support group. Most of the children ministries are still closed for my toddler due to COVID-19. But maybe I should start looking at other churches.

Have you thought about joining the PTA?

Join a hobby group for yourself.

You could consider joining Internations as well. You can help expats get to know your city better.
