I am hoping someone on here can help me. I have small black spots on my face, they aren’t unsightly and look like freckles. I went to the GP 2 years ago and was told they were nothing to worry about. However, since conducting my own research I’m pretty sure I have dermatosis Papulosa nigra. I’ve only recently noticed them and become aware that I’ve not always had them, if that makes sense.
Apparently the condition is not cancerous and is common in darker skins, and the ‘ freckles’ can be removed. But obviously with our skin being prone to scaring, I’m a little hesitant and worry I’d be making the situation worse.
Has anyone had any experience of this condition and treatment?
