Just watched this on Netflix and definitely recommend. Viola Davis was brilliant but Chadwick Boseman was beyond brilliant and it's incredible that he could have given that performance while very ill.

You will be moved!

Yes it was good. I first heard of Ma Rainey years ago. There have been so many black people with enormous talent, unfortunately being ripped off from music studio bigwigs. Chadwick Boseman was a remarkable acting talent sadly gone now.

Loved this film.

Saw the play at the National a few years ago. Amazing, thanks for letting me know it's online.
