Can’t find a thread anywhere. Anybody watching? The first two films have been superlative. Not just acting, scripts and stories but amazing cinematography. Best thing I’ve seen all year.

Really enjoyed the first one, not so much the Lovers Rock. Great cinematography in both though, can't deny that. Letitia is an amazing actress! I also loved the attention to detail throughout both episodes.

Omg my mum, aunts and uncles have so many complaints. They enjoyed the novelty of it and appreciated the opportunity to see their scene on tv. They loved the nostalgia it inspired. But they are saying it had little real plot to it, the show felt prolonged/strained at times, and there's no way several things would have happened the way they did on the show.

I loved them both but particularly Lovers Rock. I thought the dance scenes within dialogue were so powerful.

@JayDot500 I’ve seen lots of comments on Twitter not approving all the grinding! 😂

@missbeehived If I remember correctly, that's allllll I remember from my mum's house parties. We kids used to take the piss and see who could 'pretend grind' the slowest (not up against anyone!) Grin

I loved Lovers Rock, and my 15 year old was shocked to find out what Nanny and Grandad got up to in the 80s.

He wasn't so impressed with me trying to hit the high notes singing Silly Games. Watching the adults dance scrubbing of the wallpaper!
