Black Independent or Private Schools

Hi all,

I have just come across the Eden SDA School in London which seems to be a predominantly black independent school.

Does anyone know the school? I would really love to hear others’ thoughts on it, both good and bad.

I have two little ones and love the idea of the school, but want to know the realities of pupils and parents’ experiences.

Also, does anyone know of any similar independent or private schools out there?

I've not heard of it. My LO is 2 and would be interested in checking this school out. Would love to hear if they are more similar schools and also any actual parents/pupil's experiences

They recently moved from Walthamstow to Tottenham, but they have a long history. It's a faith (Seventh Day) school but has predominantly black students. Nursery to Year 6. I don't have any experience of it, but a family member went there decades ago.

Hi OP. My child attends hyland house. Very impressed with the school so far. Not everyone there is a Seventh-day adventist. Feel free to ask any questions. I would say its better than Eden.
