Hi everyone!

My husband and I recently found out on an early dating scan (like, very early, 5+ weeks) that we are expecting twins. We're being re scanned in 2 weeks time to confirm, but I'm wondering if anyone else is expecting twins. It's our first pregnancy so we're abit in awe of the thought, but wouldn't it be good to start a thread on twins so we could exchange advice, support etc. Looking forward to hearing from you! x

Hi Magic 8 - don;t worry - i've already been on the other thread before I saw your message here :)

Not got much experience of the restless leg thing, but have a friend who actually has restless leg syndrome and says going for a walk outside, having a bath or shower and brushing the skin with one of those cellulite brushes works. Also, doing something to distract you from your legs might help!

Hope you feel better soon!

Hi everyone!

I found out on Monday that I was pregnant, and today had a scan because I had a lot of pain on the right and my GP was worried it was an ectopic - no ectopic but 2 fetal poles in the sac! They were dated as 5 weeks so I've got to have another scan in 2 weeks as they didn't have heartbeats today.

It's a complete shock for my partner and I - we've only just got used to the idea of one baby, let alone 2!

Hi Spanner

Congratulations on your news! It will probably take a bit of time to sink in but I hope all goes smoothly from here and you find the hearts beating away at the next scan.

This thread is sort of closed now - we have a new one called Twins Club so come on over there and add your name to the rollcall!
