3 weeks to go .......

Hi Guys,

I'm due on 6th April (3 weeks) and i'm getting a little nervous.....time is ticking away so quickly.....

I'm booked in for a home birth. I'm a very placid person and a bit shy, but i just wanted to say hello and see if anyone is also a bit scared (but also excited).

I'm having a girl, Lily Scarlett....

Not expecting, ds is 6 months now but I just wanted to say that all moms feel so many emotions around this time including me.

There is so much info out there you can terrify yourself. Everyone will by now be giving you their opinion or birth story!

It will be wonderful and you will cope with whatever is thrown at you! I had this little cheesy mantra which worked for me; 'every contraction brings my baby closer to me'. It's v hard work but the great thing is you'll be in the comfort of your own home! pain goes when contraction goes too and it is right when people say you forget the pain after!
