Glad I was so very wrong re length of time between delivery and posting. Just wish Internet here had not decided to have a tantrum at just the wrong time.

Official weigh in finished and Simeon came in at 7lb 12oz (probably featherweight given time of year (easter)) a good fighting weight

Yes, I've met Simeon! Arcadie told me bits about the birth but I don't want to get it wrong so I'll let her tell you in glorious technicolour in her own good time. Suffice to say they're all doing really well, and I taught MrArcadie how to upload photos onto facebook for your viewing pleasure!

Thanks for letting me crash your thread, and for looking after my chum so well over the last (nearly 10) months. I wish you all the very best with your babies

Now get on with tidying up in here, leave it how you'd like to find it for the next people please. Chop chop with that broom.

ok it's arcadie herself back again.I'm stitched, bathed, tucked up in bed and prepping to watch birth vid.

in total denial that I've gone into labour naturally and had a HB.

Simeon a total star - he's eaten well aand is busy looking at me, Cappuccino popped over, as did mt parents who have now seen more of me than they've seen in many a year, including more gore than Dad looked able to deal with.

sigh... thanks march mumsnetters. you rock.
just need to hear from Afribaby and then we can tuck this thread up in bed and turn out the lights!!!

Sneaks in... WITH baby.
LAYLA ISABEL born on 31st March at 7.14 am - 8lb 9oz, waterbirth, home by 11.30am. She is of course gorgeous and perfect and has a head of long black hair - seriously, curling over her collar!

Am and totally impressed at Arcadies live action birth -congratulations! Thanks to all you lovely crazy ladies for your support - been invaluable.

Can we now declare this thread closed and all move to PN? Yes?

Ok, so now to try and post on the PN thread. Just...anything. This chld won't settle unless latched on to me and I seriously can't seem to do anything (including going to my best friends wedding yesterday )

I gave birth to Ben on Tuesday 30th March. 8lb 9oz. Birth didn't go as planned - I'll post birth story later today on the other thread. Didn't know you could feel such heart-bursting love for something so small.
