waters broke at 24wks now poss infection

my waters broke 24+4 gushing for 6hrs then stopped, no contractions. Now 25+5 raised inflammatory markers will IV drip help or doomed for induction?

loads of variables - if the fluid doesn't smell funny, you haven't got a temperature, the babys heartrate is normal, your heartrate is normal, the scans are ok, the placental flow is normal and there is some fluid left, and the swabs they take are negative then the pregnancy may proceed longer. If any of the above are causing concern they may think of delivering you....but I assume you have had steriods for the babys lungs and that they are giving you antibiotics....remember the staff will try to keep the baby in for as long as it's safe, and if you have to deliver the NICU staff are fab.
