Hi,

I live in N8 where you see lots of women and men pushing a buggy and sitting in cafes. I'm now 23 weeks pregnant (due in June) and love to meet other mums to be.

As far as I could find out there are plenty of courses or meet-ups for mums who have had their baby. Or for couples / mums that are just about to give birth.

But I would like to make some connections from now on rather than waiting until May. I think it would be nice to meet up for decaff-coffee and cake and just to exchange about how we feel.

Anyone interested?

Hi Marianish and congratulations on your pregnancy.

I know that the NCT co-ordinators in Stroud Green and Crouch End were looking at organising a meet-up for folk locally who are due. It was just a social thing in a pub or cafe, not a class.

If you contact [email protected] copied to [email protected] then they might be able to help put you in touch with people. You wouldn't need to be an NCT mmember or booked on an NCT class.

Another idea would be for you to post this again in the local Haringey site here where it's more likely to get noticed.

Good luck.

Thanks Stroudgreenie! I've just emailed them - let's see what they write back. I also spoke with the Campsbourne family centre and they said they would look into setting something up.

So other mums to be in N8 and surroundings look out for a meet up in the Campsbourne centre in the future.
