OMG Im pregnant, just found out an hour ago

Hello, Im not sure what the etiquette is for chat rooms, as I have never been in one before, but I have just this afternoon found out I am pregnant and I could not be happier!!! My husband has had to go out, but is as pleased as punch, and i have told my mum, but my husband has sworn me to secrecy and I am desperate to talk about it with anybody experiencing the same amount of joy as me!!

Enjoy the initial excitement - you will soon be as paranoid about every little symptom or lack thereof as the rest of us along with the general incompetence or disinterest of your midwife-gp, overdue scan dates, booking-in appointments etc etc

You are in good company. I assume you are due in September> I would recommend joining tthe due in September 2010 thread - you will find lots of people at a similar stage to you to share your experiences, excitement and worries with.

yes, this is my first, and we had not really been trying, just kind of waiting to see what would happen! Kind of shocked as we only stopped using protection 2 months ago! Thank you for your post, I will go and log onto the Sept thread. Thanks xxx
