Fingers crossed pink stormfly my arm is still a bit sore to lift above shoulder height and I've been so surprised at how much I use my left arm! I actually slept ok the first night but took paracetamol before I went to bed and have been ok since. Not sure if I would recommend getting it in your right arm if you are right handed - you might be pretty disabled by it! I had a classic situation of getting stuck lying on the sofa where I couldn't use my arm to help me up, not would my pelvis tolerate my legs pushing me up so DH had to get me up. Felt such a numpty.

Still no news from Erika? Oooh I can't stand the waiting!

I had really strong BH last night for nearly 3hrs, they were coming between every 4-7mins and I started thinking they were the real thing when I had to breath though them, then suddenly.....nothing that is so annoying. Anyone else wish we had a crystal ball so we knew when these little ones were going to show up?!

Oh gosh this is all very exciting. I think we'll get a few more babies now. Erika must be having hers!!!!

This baby feels like it is right in my bottom. I'm starting to feel ready now

I had period pains last night, still there this morning but nothing more, I think I'm joining the 3rd baby mess about!!

He has arrived!! Ioan (yo-an) Scott McLean was born on Sunday 8th at 5:20pm weighing in at 9lb 8oz (around 4320g).

We had to stay in a few days as he had to have his blodd sugars monitored due to his size and we're doing formula top ups every 4 hours until my milk comes in as he's just so hungry!!

No stitches though which I was chuffed about, and I hadn't bothered with any perenium prep so don't worry for those who haven't!

Will catch up on all your news etc. and any other new babies soon. Am just trying to head to bed and sleep whenever I can now!

p.s. got a text from Erika this morning so think it will be a few days before she's back on. Won't spoil her news

My parents are on their way! I have a midwife appointment later at the GPs, but not expecting anything to come of it, this is the woman I have been telling that I have SPD for months and she has been ignoring me and fobbing me off. Let's see what she says when she sees the crutches!

I've given up on the idea of having the baby before Monday. Symptom spotting was getting me down more than the wait, so if she comes, she comes, but I will plan for Monday. It's not too far off anyway. My mum is of the opinion they should have got the baby out last Thursday when I was in hospital, so she might kick off later at the midwife, she is very protective of me, but then I suppose I will be the same when my girls are having babies. In fact, I kind of hope they adopt.

Congratulations scarlotti, great name! And great size, well done!

And belated congratulations to kyte, I missed that announcement yesterday. I love the name Alexander too.

Hope wizzy is doing ok and looking forward to hearing Erika's news.

I have also given up hope of this littlen making an appearance by herself and am concentrating on sun now. was supposed to be having another sweep today but they havent got back to me about it, and i dont think they will.
Dh reckons i'll go into labour today as he's just rung me from the work phone as he's left his mobile at home so he's worried that I will and that I wont be able to get hold of him.

wizzy I'm so sorry to hear your news. I don't really know what to say, can't imagine the pain. I hope all your family can support one another in this and I love what somebody else said about remembering to live and not being scared. Thinking of you.

Trikken that's funny because my DH has also gone into panic mode and sent me a list of five phone numbers I can try to get him on and times of meetings today. There must be something in the air. I still have three days to go though but apparently, as DH told me last night, on 3% babies arrive on their due date.
