Anyone else due April 2010?

I just found out yesterday I'm 4 weeks preggers after trying for our 2nd baby for a year and half, at last!! It seemed as though it was never going to happen!

Here's to the next 8-9 months!

LittleOneMum

Hoobs - did you find the bubblewrap for us all, I need it for tomorrow please!

Thehuntress - hope that the scan goes well on friday. at 5w5days, you should get to see the sac, but maybe nothing more. And that is only if the sonographer is good, I have had later scans and they have seen nothing even with a sucessful pregnancy!

dani - hope that the scan goes well on friday, and that you get a good result.

ThighsMOC - It is hard after a m/c to not worry each and every loo trip with the knicker-checking. I am feeling like it is any-time that the wipe-of-doom will happen, but I keep trying to focus on where I am at rather than keep worrying. As this is the forth time I have been pg since November it is not easy for me to not expect the worst. When was your last m/c?

I am starting to feel more tired and a little nausea at times too, but overall still feeling ok. I have a little bloating and cramping going on, but know this is normal for me, so it is reassuring me that at least at the moment things are going ok.

hoops997 · 05/08/2009 21:51

willitbe yep have shedloads of the stuff, consider yourself well and truly wrapped from head to toe, and everyone else for that matter........although walking is a bit difficult

lineky · 05/08/2009 21:57

Hi all I am getting a lot of nausea, quite tired, sore boobs started today and my walk this afternoon fair took it out of me. Can anyone reassure me that it is normal to feel the odd indigestion / mild cramp like feelings? I had just assumed - perhaps naively - that I wouldn't feel a thing till it started to move. All these symptoms feelings etc have really taken me by surprise, its so real

Good luck huntress. The scan is a bit anti-climatic, tbh. They didn't see a baby at 5w3d but they saw the gestational sac and a yolk sac, so it was good to see proof, but I really wanted to see a baby! Hopefully everything is as it should be for you!

Got a call from the GP today, she wants to schedule another scan for 2 weeks from now to check for a heartbeat. Fingers, toes and everything else crossed all goes well between now and then.

I agree with everyone, the bloating is killer! No real nausea yet though.....

PrincessTweetz · 06/08/2009 08:13

Morinin all!! I had a bit of a scare last nite...went to the loo & saw a pinkish stain in my pants, n crapped myself, but all is good so it must have just been spotting...very relieved this morning!! So relieved that I actually feel happy bout how sick I feel today...which is horrible really!! My boobs are sore and heavy as well, which I never got this early with my dd...I had the 'ooh twins'...but just came round to the idea that this baby's gonna b a biggie!

thehuntress · 06/08/2009 09:20

Thanks so much ladies for all of the good wishes for the scan tomorrow. I'm anxious, but trying not to get my hopes up too much about what they will see. willitbe that's very helpful information. I've already told myself not to expect a heartbeat, and not to freak out if they don't see one. And hope the scan goes well for you too dani PrincessTweetz I had a bit of light spotting in my last pregnancy and all was fine. So glad to hear all is well with you too.

I haven't gotten any real nausea yet, which I'm surprised by. I think I had already started feeling sick by this time during my last pregnancy. I hope that my good luck continues because I remember how miserable I felt for weeks.

My biggest worry is that I still have a pain in my right side (it feels like it is my ovary). It is similar to that pain you get when you are ovulating. It is tender to the touch too. Is that normal? Well, I guess they can check that out in the scan tomorrow too.

Hope everyone has a lovely day!

hi everyone how are we all feeling? this morning i woke up and accused poor dh of putting the heating on i was so hot! remembered thats how i realised i was pregnant in april.. hoping its a good sign as dont have many other symptoms. they were easier to spot the first time round, now i have a two year old i'm always tired and grumpy

weetiger do you mind me asking how many days after af was due did you get a strong positive? i realised from an old diary that ive been miscalculating and my cycle is actually 32 days and not 29. also realised that my strong cramps were on day 18 and day 26 which would be ovulation and implantation. strange how you can figure it out.

anyway i am still getting positive test but not just as strong as i'd like and i'm two days overdue af.

hoops as you said we will just be panicking the whole time due to mc in the past

xx

Bettymum · 06/08/2009 09:59

Good luck for tomorrow thehuntress we'll be thinking of you.
I've made my GP appointment for tomorrow, so I'm actually quite excited [saddo emoticon]. It will all start becoming official!

Just come back from the GP - very anticlimatic as warned! But I guess I'm in the system now. Have a MW appointment for a couple of weeks - anyone know what that's for/what happens? Seems kind of early for another app tbh - I was just expecting them to sort out a 12 week scan date.

Wishes to littleonemum and good luck to thehuntress

Snowtiger · 06/08/2009 10:50

Hello everyone - I'm a new MNer and just found this thread, I'd like to join please! Found out on Saturday that I'm pg with number 2, DS is 2 years old this month and, just like with him, I fell pregnant within ooh about half an hour of us deciding to try for a baby!! Scary!! Am still a little freaked but also quite excited - huge trepidation about how to cope with a toddler and a baby but am sure it'll all work out.
According to online EDD calculator I'm due on 12 April so..
Neeko: EDD 29th March
annlouise75: EDD 31st March
Rtuff: EDD 1st April
Tostaky: EDD 1st April
PrincessTweetz: EDD 1st April
DwayneDibbley: EDD 2nd April
Hoops997: EDD 2nd April
Mcfee: EDD 2nd April
Zaramara: EDD 2nd April
ReneRusso: EDD 3rd April
thehuntress: EDD 3rd April
thighsmadeofcheddar: EDD 3rd April
bringonthetrumpets: EDD 3rd April
McChesers: EDD 4th April
Walkingbookworm: EDD 4th April (I think)
MrsKate: EDD 5th April
Bettymum: EDD 7 April
Willitbe: 7th April
WeeTiger: 9th April
Bungo 101 : EDD 10th April
Wellieboot: EDD 11th April
LeeWT: EDD 12th April
Snowtiger: EDD 12th April
Dani87: 18th april

although who knows what date the GP will give me if and when I ever get an appointment to tell them I'm PG!

Likewise DwayneDibbley I'm a windy horror to live with! glad it's not just me. DH thinks there's something rotten in the house ha ha.

Looking forward to sharing developments with everyone.
Littleonemum, so sorry to hear your news, am wishing you love and support; and thehuntress, wishing you luck!

ReneRusso · 06/08/2009 11:11

Thehuntress - ovary pain is normal unless it's very severe. It's the corpus luteum which is a functional cyst, produces hormones which support the pregnancy. Good luck for your scan.

ReneRusso · 06/08/2009 11:15

Welcome snowtiger

Snowtiger · 06/08/2009 11:37

Thanks for the welcome - am so excited and grateful to have such a fab community of helpful and funny people! Can't believe I didn't know about MN the first time around!

Rtuff · 06/08/2009 11:50

Morning everyone...

Well it's my birthday today and i woke up with really horrible morning sickness!! What a birthday present!

I've got my first midwife appointment on the 18th August and i also recieved my 12 week scan date which i'm really excited about on the 17th September. Has anyone else got their scan date yet? I thought i recieved it really early, last time i didn't get it till after my 1st midwife appt....

walkingbookworm that appointment is just for blood test etc and for the midwife to ask you loads of questions about you and also about yours and your family medical history...

Hope everyone is well!

Happy Birthday Rtuff!

My GP told me that during pregnancy you're allowed one glass of champagne at christmas, and one on your birthday .
