Anyone else due April 2010?

I just found out yesterday I'm 4 weeks preggers after trying for our 2nd baby for a year and half, at last!! It seemed as though it was never going to happen!

Here's to the next 8-9 months!

Morning ladies, hope everyone had a nice weekend.
Hoops, hope all is well with you.
I think the symptoms are starting for me...I went to the supermarket on Saturday and wandered round in a daze till DH came and rescued me, my mind just went blank. Had to have a little nap on the sofa in the afternoon as so tired! Felt better yesterday. Have a sore tummy today so hope it's nothing sinister - I keep going to the loo to check. We are indeed a paranoid lot aren't we?
I think I might go and see my GP this week, I'll be 5 weeks on Wednesday so it still seems very early. Not sure whether to wait another week.

Rtuff · 03/08/2009 10:08

Morning everyone,

It seems like it's been an eventfull weekend for you Hoops , i'm really pleased that everything is okay for you!

Well my sickness is getting worse, getting more tired, v hormonal as dh very kindly pointed out yesterday and absolutely shattered! Can't wait for 12 weeks when hopefully all this horribleness should go away as it did with DS1.

I hope everyone else is well!

Hello all,

yes quite an eventful weekend but turned out ok in the end.......neeko my next scan is on the 17th of this month, which can't come soon enough!!!

I'm in danger of turning into a complete paranoid crazy woman.....did another CB digi today (the other one in the pack) and it has changed to 3+ now so that has calmed me down for a bit......

My mother keeps telling me to forget I'm PG and think of other things..... like it's that bloody easy...

how is everyone else?

thehuntress · 03/08/2009 16:21

So reassuring to know I'm not the only freak reading into every symptom and wondering what it means. Last night in bed, one of my ovaries was having a sharp pain and I convinced myself that I had an ectopic pregnancy. And that is with absolutely no other symptoms -- it kept me up for two hours worrying. Argghh! This is going to be a long pregnancy.

No MS for me yet, and even that is making me paranoid. I'm trying to remember when it started for me in the last pregnancy. I should have taken notes so I could look back. Even my boobs aren't sore, which I definitely had last time. I know every pregnancy is different but I'm worrying a bit.

Hope everyone else is doing well...

WalkingBookworm · 03/08/2009 17:16

Bettymum and thehuntress I know how you feel - have stomach ache today and am thus feeling very paranoid (also no other worrying symptoms). Also no MS yet - I thought it wasn't supposed to start until 6 weeks or so though so was just assuming I had a few days yet anyway.

I am getting really tired in the afternoons though - my DH thinks it's funny - yawning and collapsing in a tired heap at 3:30 and fine again by dinner time. It is a bit weird, I sort of thought I'd feel more tired all the time

Neeko · 03/08/2009 17:36

What are we like? Obsessed-R-us!
Hoops I should hopefully have a scan round then too so we can hold hands. BTW if your mum can bottle ignoring that you're pregnant, please share it around.

PrincessTweetz · 03/08/2009 17:44

Oh my goodness annlouise75...I'm halfway thru sortin out DD's Princess party..I totally 4got 2 think about how I am at the mo...I've sent out the invites for between 3 and 5, and I've only just realised that's exactly the time when tiredness kicks in n makes me crumple 2 the sofa like a possessed zombie!! Haha..that's gonna be 1 long day hehe...good luck with yours!! Hopefully by some miracle that will be the most energetic you'll feel

wellieboot · 03/08/2009 19:40

Hi everyone - can I join too? Got a BFP this afternoon, can't believe it!! Thehuntress I also have a dd who is 21/2 and have a bfp after one month of trying. Feel slightly nervous too as last time I felt as sick as a dog 24/7 from the day of my missed AF so I'm stuck between being hopeful that this time won't be as bad and worrying if it's not that everything's ok. Can't win!

Can I just ask if anyone is showing yet? I think I have already developed a 'pudge' down there with that familiar hard pregnancy feel to it. I've been eating normally (and given up alcohol!) so don't think I'm gaining weight. How the heck am I going to hide this at work for the next 8 weeks ?!

I have a nice layer of flub protecting mine so I wouldn't know if I'm showing yet! Proper nausea atarted this morning though...Feeling quite green. Have never had this before.

Bettymum · 04/08/2009 09:35

I don't think I'm showing, but I have little spare tyres where I didn't have spare tyres before . And since I can't drink wine I had to make up for it by buying Gu chocolate puds last night when I nipped to the shops for milk. Mmm yummy.

tostaky · 04/08/2009 10:53

Hi everybody!

No symptoms still apart from tiredness but not sure if it is because i do more than usual or not. My mum told me to stop worrying as she didnt have any symptoms either with my brother.

goes to bed

Bungo101 · 04/08/2009 15:11

Hello everyone.

I still think I have no symptoms, but that's really because my boobs don't hurt - last time they hurt like crazy.
I am having period pain like general ache on and off throughout the day, which I'm paranoid about. Anyone else got that?
Also have terrible backache. Sounds spookily like AF, but it can't be - have now had 5 BFPs. Hope everything is just settling in!

Hello ladies,

May I join?? I am rather shocked. I've been so disheartened about getting pregnant I had totally forgotten when my last period was. I was in sainsburys today and thought what the heck, I'll get one, it's been ages. It popped straight up really strong, did the other one and it came straight up too. Quick trip to Boots and got the clearblue digi and it says I'm pregnant. I'm in shock, we've been trying over 18 months and I had a mc in February.
My dates will be all over the place until the scan as I have a 45 day cycle normally.

I'm speechless!

Lovely to be here.

weetiger was the sample FMU? I think the tests they use are not as sensitive as the shop bought ones (please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong anyone), that's what my Doc told me.........

Hello thighsmadeofcheddar (i'm sure they aren't as bad as mine!) and big congratulations after 18 months trying you must be over the moon!!

Bungo101 - I am also having period type aches - completely different from last time when I just had the odd twinge. I think it is just your uterus expanding so hopefully nothing to worry about.

hoops997 · 04/08/2009 18:09

good luck, fingers crossed for a good strong line

Bettymum · 04/08/2009 20:21

WeeTiger another poster was posting about this a couple of days ago, she's had 5 BFPs but the doctor's test was "inconclusive" so she's had to go back with another sample. It seems that the doctors tests maybe aren't very sensitive .
Congratulations thighs!
