Anyone else due April 2010?

I just found out yesterday I'm 4 weeks preggers after trying for our 2nd baby for a year and half, at last!! It seemed as though it was never going to happen!

Here's to the next 8-9 months!

Hi all. Not good news for MLS I'm afraid This will be her 3rd miscarriage this year. It's so unfair.

Bettymum · 17/09/2009 16:15

CinnabarRed · 17/09/2009 16:40

draughts · 17/09/2009 17:23

Oh I was so hoping it would be different news for her. Your right it is so, so unfair.

mls Just in case you look in, I am thinking of you, rest, take care of yourself and I really hope that you get some answers and are soon back on the ante natal boards. ((hugs)).

Zeeky · 17/09/2009 19:36

Hi all,

Back from holiday in Egypt and all ok with bump as far as I know. I was very very careful with what I ate (avoiding the huge salad bar and all the delicious looking mousses ) and drank loads of water. Only had a slightly iffy tummy one day. THe worst bit was the flight home - 5 hrs crammed in a tiny seat on Thompson Air. Holiday was great though. DS had a wail of a time in the pool everyday, and I got lots of rest.

Currently 9+3. Got scan booked in 2 weeks time & can't wait. My belly & boobs are getting bigger by the day, so not sure how much longer I am going to be able to keep it a secret from people! Really want to wait until after the scan to tell people though.

Zeeky x

stinkypinky · 17/09/2009 19:58

thehuntress · 18/09/2009 09:25

So sorry MLS and clothaddict.

I have my 12 week scan today at 12:30 and had trouble sleeping last night.

thedollshouse · 18/09/2009 09:47

Good luck thehuntress.

annlouise75 · 18/09/2009 12:51

So sorry to hear your bad news mls and clothaddict. Take good care of yourselves and I hope you have happier news again soon.

Good luck to all those with scans soon.

I had my 12 week scan this morning and thankfully all was well. Due date 1st April (not Mar 31st) so not much change there.
Had an appointment with the consultant afterwards to discuss potential problems with my bmi being a bit high and due to DS being big. They've booked me in for a glucose tolerance test and extra growth scan at 28 weeks, so at least they will be monitoring the situation.

Hi everyone.

Sorry to hear your sad new MLS and clothaddict. Take care.

I'm feeling back to normal now at 10.1, I've already had a scan but have another one on the 9th Oct (the proper 12 week scan). My bump has shrunk back down now too, but I'm assuming it was just bloating.

Hope your scan went well thehuntress.

thehuntress · 18/09/2009 14:25

So, I'm not sure how to feel about my scan. I was at the fetal medicine centre on Harley Street. I took over two hours from beginning to end. My bloods were good, the nuchal was good, BUT they couldn't find the nasal bone.

Even with that, she said my risk is 1:692 because my bloods/nuchal were so good. If she would have found the nasal bone, it would have been 1:3000 (ish).

I'm stressing about her not seeing the nasal bone. I'm 11 weeks 5 days, and she said maybe it is too early. She booked me in for another scan in a week. She said the majority of babies will show a nasal bone by then after missing it the first scan.

The baby was very active, bouncing around. That was good to see. But I can't fully relax.

Mistymoo · 18/09/2009 15:57

Sorry to hear your sad news MLS and clothaddict. Please take care and take the rest you need.

I got my scan date through today. Its on the 6th. It will be my first and could be the last as you only get one in Scotland, well Highlands anyway, unless there are complications. (Well that was the case with my last two, presume its still the same.)

thighsmadeofcheddar · 18/09/2009 16:06

So sorry ClothAddict, take lots of care.

Oh Huntress, I'm sure it will be all okay next week. You're in expert hands at the FMC and if the consultant was relaxed about it, it must be a good sign.

I've still got loads of sickness and exhaustion and I'm 12 weeks today. My nuchal scan is Wednesday so it'll be an anxious wait till then. It feels like I've been pregnant forever already!

Take care all

mcfee · 18/09/2009 16:29

Hi RTUFF (and NEEKO IIRC) just checking back in to see how the scan went?

wellieboot · 18/09/2009 16:42

oh no, so sorry to hear the bad news MLS and clothaddict. Thinking of you.

Good to hear everyone's positive scan results - so exciting! I have my nuchal and dating scan a week today, feeling nervous, even though I have had nearly 2 months of feeling like I want to die I still can't believe there is anything in there!

tostaky · 18/09/2009 17:20

Sorry to hear about cloth addict and MLS losses...

And glad to hear about everyone else positives scans!! Yay!

I went to mine, baby was kicking his legs and that was great seeing him but the nuchal measurement was very low (0.8mm) even more when you take in account that the CRL is at 95%... so will see... im a bit in the dark to be honest. the sonographer wasnt the most helpful person in the world and i dont think she looked for nasal bone either...
I'll have the results of my combinesd test in a week or so and i have appointment with a consultant in two weeks to talk about VBAC options, i'll ask him/her about all the other things (nuchal measurement etc..)
DP is really worried..
