Hi Sal, after my c-section i bled for almost 10 weeks. It was red for about7 weeks and then dribs and drabs like at the end of a period for another few weeks after that. I saw Dr about that twice and she said it was normal. Hope it is all ok by now! x

Sal - six weeks sounds okay to me too. I also remember mine nearly stopping after a few weeks and then going pink/red again - the MW said that I'd probably been overdoing it (I had a C-section too, so naughty, naughty!)

BTW, I think your message probably took a long while to get answered as the Ante-natal bit of MN tends to be where everyone goes to a particular thread (e.g. baby was born in Aug 08 etc.) and so individual messages get missed. You might get more answers if you post under Childbirth or General Health. HTH.

Oh - and congratulations!
