Oh wow, how exciting! Everyone's popping!

I'm going to be off for the night now, as I'm absolutely knackered. I'm beginning to be in a weird place mentally where I'm totally fed up of this having a baby thing. I just want to put him on standby & have a day off. If only it worked like that Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

Nutty, I'm so excited for you. So, so excited. I'll try to be online tomorrow to keep an eye on things - but I'll have my phone, so feel free to text me with anything of interest Good luck, lovely lady xx

My waters just broke big time. I was turning over in bed and off they went - all I wanted to do for the first few minutes was sit on the loo and listen to them gushing out. I am VERY nervous now. Hospital says to come in as soon as we are ready to get checked out - no contractions as yet. PIL on their way although they weren't pleased as they had only just gone to bed!

Might meet LuLu there

I just hope Kingston isn't full yet - judging from this thread women will be queueing to get in tonight!

I should try to get some sleep but not sure I can... Maybe a shower and shave instead?

Schulte · 20/04/2009 23:33

Thing is, Nutty, this time I know how much it will hurt and I am not sure I am up for it!

Bit behind on thread but ...

CONGRATS to everyone and their new babies.

GOOD LUCK to Nutty for your big day.

GINGERSARAH please don't go into labour until I have found my mobile phone as I can't pick up any messages at the moment! I have asked Nutty to reallocate another buddy perhaps but I imagine she will have a lot on her mind at the moment.

Regarding MOBILITY I am pretty weak physically, and quite stiff but I am managing a small walk every day without crutches. For example today we did a little walk around Waitrose.

Regarding FANJO things are still very sore so the mw is bringing me around a wise woman herbal bath concoction tomorrow.

JUWES, sod top up feeds, just get him on the breast all the time and he will be fine. Even better get him feeding from one side and express with an industrial strength pump from the other, and your body will think you have twins and make loads of milk.

Regarding DS2, his first day at the new school went very well and I am so relieved to be away from the mad school and the mad head teacher. This place is friendly and normal.

Gotta sleep, night night all. xx

Schulte · 21/04/2009 01:33

Schulte update... still here, bored and tired. Having contractions now about 3.5 to 4 minutes apart, but not very long (about 40 seconds each). Have a feeling that they'll assess me and send me back home but I can't sleep like this. Oh well.
