KittyCatIsGettingFat · 20/04/2009 20:49

hi ladies, still here... ctx now back to every 7 mins after slowing down a LOT earlier - and my word, are they painful!! it feels like we're in a timewarp - when we check contractionmaster i simply cn't believe that it's seven mins since the last one! they're taking me a minute or two to recover from, so i'm really hoping this will be the final stretch. (excuse the pun!)

surprisenumber3 · 20/04/2009 20:52

ahh good luck Kitty, you'll soon be cuddling your newborn

lauren - this is no time to be running out of maternity pads, send DP out - quick!

LaurenIsMoreThanReadyToPop61 · 20/04/2009 21:06

lol kitty final stretch hahahaa

he went earlier for shopping and they hadnt got any!! normal pads soak too much so apparently ive got to just pile on the pantyliners?! oh well i dont see a head or feel the need to push therefore i do not believe anything is happening

Yay Kitty, well done you, if things are kicking off properly again for you then it really won't be long now.

As for me... I have horrible pressure in my pelvis tonight, so much so that I can hardly walk, and have had period pain on and off but as far as I am concerned all this means is that LO has settled a little further down in my pelvis. I am not expecting anything exciting just yet. Will just sit back and watch the action

Schulte · 20/04/2009 21:15

Nutty - you're very welcome you need your baby out more desperately than I do

PuzzleRocks · 20/04/2009 21:19

Can't believe I missed 2.30pm message..

FROM LULUBAI

...having slightly strange time. Several cm dilated but no proper contractions so going into Kingston this avo to have waters broken and hopefully speed things up. Should have baby by tomorrow.

GO LULU GO !

PuzzleRocks · 20/04/2009 21:20

She said she will update so I assume she is busy birthing at the moment.

no and I think they are text buddies??

oh my hands are so swollen I can hardly type - going to have a nice bath I think. BP is up a bit too 137/97 but seeing as it was 152/102 at booking (and 130/80-85 since) they're not too worried. No protein either or headaches etc either.

yep - what was your BP when you were tested for PE? My BP was high at the hospital the other night but they didn't even check me for it as no other symptoms, even though I had DS1 at 34 weeks because of severe PE!

LaurenIsMoreThanReadyToPop61 · 20/04/2009 21:40

It's all happening for the April mums yaaay !!

I think there's definitely going to be a few more names move to the top of our baby list tomorrow,, good luck everyone

Schulte · 20/04/2009 21:46

My corner shop lady, who is a Hindu, said the 21st was a good day to give birth - she consulted her special calendar - so good luck to all of you!

I was too really. When she first checked it and it was 156/98 she said she would do a urine check and then get bloods. She went away with my notes and spoke to doctor and he said given my history not to worry as this was normal for me!! I think they weren't too bothered because they thought I was in labour at the time!

surprisenumber3 · 20/04/2009 21:58

just before I go into the bath I just want to say all the best for tomorrow Nutty, so excited, hope it all goes smoothly

And to Kitty, Lauren, Swali and anyone else who is slowly progressiong (sorry if I've missed anyone), all the best, let's hope 21st April is a fab day for us April mums!

And to everyone who has their babies - Enjoy the munching!
