Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Lauren - mine was hard to reach and posterior last week, I think that's why it hurt so much.

Just read through notes properly and it says
2 cm dilated, 50% effaced, presenting part ceph and -2, cervix central. Liquor (S) (anyone know what that means?).

Please someone tell me all this means she should be here before next Fri!!

LaurenIsMoreThanReadyToPop61 · 23/04/2009 18:12

surprise mine said "no evidence of liqour" from the 8th april.. i thought i'd read it wrong or she'd wrote it wrong?! nothing about liquor since though, wonder what it is lol??

LaurenIsMoreThanReadyToPop61 · 23/04/2009 18:16

ooh googled and its your amniotic fluid apparently, don't know why yours is 'S' though x

surprisenumber3 · 23/04/2009 18:19

no evidence of liquor? does that mean yours have gone? mine were apparently 'bulging'

LaurenIsMoreThanReadyToPop61 · 23/04/2009 18:33

i think they meant it that there was no evidence of it on my pad or on the sheet you sit on. They didnt internal me that time in case of 'interfering'. so that they hadn't gone sort of thing

BabyBolat · 23/04/2009 18:47

I know Juw and I had to read this triangle of care with words like income and emotional stability and sign to say there was nothing there that would prevent me from caring for Kara - was ridiculous!

Ooooh Lauren I wanted to kill people towards the end but those messages would really tip me over the edge - i know they are being funny but it is a bit insensitive!!!

LaurenIsMoreThanReadyToPop61 · 23/04/2009 19:20

BB that sounds ridiculous!! That would make me feel like it wasnt my baby, like i was looking after it for the health visitor!!!

Not just me being extra touchy then.. I wrote on my status "5days overdue, sick of everybody asking, bye facebook, bye phone"

hopefully theyll get the hint!

surprisenumber3 · 23/04/2009 19:26

my friends are texting a few times a day at the moment! Doesn't help that I have a few people offering to take the DC's to school for me/pick them up, so then everyone at the school who sees them being taken in by someone else gets excited and texts/calls me! It's lovely really, but SOOOO annoying when you're desperate to pop!

soon2befamilyof4 · 23/04/2009 19:27

Yes I have been having those calls and texts too. Facebooks is the worst - I shouldn't really go on there!

Can anybody help me with this, I know I have gone on about it all day but I am getting a bit worried now.....
I keep getting really sudden pains in my bump. There doesn't seem to be any pattern in how often they are coming. When I touch my bump during the pain, it is very hard and a different shape. The pain is really awful, I struggle to even more when it is on. Probably lasts 1-2 mins. I am starting to think they actually are contractions and I could be in the early stages of labour? They are just SO painful though, they certainly were not this painful at the start of labour last time but then again, my last labour was VERY slow. I am a bit worried, I am home alone so have nobody to talk to about it. DH is working till 11pm. He can come home if I am in labour but I obviously don't want to call him home if it is a false alarm. How do I t ell if these are contractions or not? You wouldn't think I did this only 16 months ago!!! I really honestly don't know but they are bloody painful!!!!

frekkles · 23/04/2009 19:27

i've just down a half hours nip stim with my breast pump (surprisingly erotic!), had some very energetic sex (at 9 months pregnant! go me!) john's cooking fish curry and tommorow i'm going to walk up a big hill. feel totally no twinges but i have cheered up a whole bunch so hurrah! it's my due date eve!

gotta love these mood swings.

oooh trista had her baby! woo hooo

soon2befamilyof4 · 23/04/2009 19:29

Oh and BB - the close parent and modern baby are the exact same nappy. Sorry, I didn't even notice that I used a different name to what you had done.

surprisenumber3 · 23/04/2009 19:31

OOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW - contractions every 8 mins and agonising.....not gonna moan, not gonna moan. DH gone crazy and tidied all around and gone out to get snacks etc. OOOOOWWWWWWWWWWW

Thinking prob false alarm started by sweep but am also thinking 'bring it on!!'.

LaurenIsMoreThanReadyToPop61 · 23/04/2009 19:36

im jealous of your pain i want pain!!!

Soon2be id wait it out and see if it gets worse, if its same before you go to bed ring emergency midwife/hospital and see what they say

LaurenIsMoreThanReadyToPop61 · 23/04/2009 19:38

soon2be, can you have a hot bath?? do whatever you can to be most comfortable through the pains and if they get unbearable give DH a ring, its only just over 3 hours til he finishes anyway, so see if you can hold out til then my advice might be a bit crappy ive never done it before lol, just dont want you to go unanswered, thats what i'd do

soon2befamilyof4 · 23/04/2009 19:42

Ok, I am going to try and cook dinner anyway. It really has been going on since last night, which is why I had no sleep and I am so tired today. I had my TENS on all night last night but still kept being woken up. Tomorrow would be quite a good day for me childcare wise! Lol. BUT I had hoped to get the house sorted a bit.

Finally got my moses basket from my friend today - bit late but at least it was here before baby!

PuzzleRocks · 23/04/2009 19:50

Bloody hell, still no news from Nutty?

soon2befamilyof4 · 23/04/2009 20:03

I recon they are getting to every 10 mins now so might well be it? I am overdue so could well be? I am going to do dinner, then have a nice hot bath and see where that takes me. I did start up that contraction master site to start tracking it but my laptop doesn't work so only using PC and if I am cooking dinner and start to get one, I can't run in here to do it!

The more I think about them, the more I think this is it. Trying not to get too excited though.

surprisenumber3 · 23/04/2009 20:03

I am worried about Nutty

surprisenumber3 · 23/04/2009 20:05

Good luck soon2be, hopefully we will both deliver tonight

soon2befamilyof4 · 23/04/2009 20:34
