Just adding my support to the go Boff/moooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo contingent..

No established labour yet, just an odd inability to eat anything and reallllly sore back. fgs!

SpringySponge · 06/04/2009 20:22

Oh MM, how rubbish for you. How's the leaking going?

mathshoneybunny27 · 06/04/2009 20:26

no leakage here at all

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 06/04/2009 20:27

MM ((hugs)) hopefully it will kick of for you soon

SpringySponge · 06/04/2009 20:28

It won't be long now. You're building up to it. Are you able to sleep at the moment, or is it too painful?

mathshoneybunny27 · 06/04/2009 20:29

almost totally disappeared..except awful tummy pains when I try to eat and generally cold and shivery.

BabyBolat · 06/04/2009 20:31

Haha - I think I have been behaving worse than that for the past few months!

The name means dark-haired king so he must be destined for greatness! I was sat here in silence listening to him do it in the room above me! was lovely! and yes juw, you're right - it was their thing and was really nice!

Springy, yes they are!

Puzzle I think it is fairly rare just by the sheer number of people I saw trying to work out how to solve the problem! Dh is really proud but I think it freaked him out a bit - at the end I had the mw telling me to push and him telling me to stop because I was going so purple holding my breath - (he was promptly told to shut up!!!)

right I have to moo it now - am off to have a bath then DH has to grout in the bathroom floor tiles and we have to go to bed! - Karahan has been sleeping ALL day so think we may have a fairly active night time tonight!

Night all - smutts / springy / kitty will one of you text if boff has her DS?

thebluefoxategreensocks · 06/04/2009 20:31

purplemonkeydishwasher: Highlands of Scotland, bit north of Inverness! (tho I'm an American not a highlander! haha) Where abouts are you?

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 06/04/2009 20:32

MM xx

JuwEggsm · 06/04/2009 20:32

Ah, late pregnancy. The only time when not leaking requires a instead of a !!

conkertree · 06/04/2009 20:34

ds was the spitting image of dh when he was born - even up to having one sticky out ear - the same one as dh. still looks fairly similar but not as much as the new born him.

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 06/04/2009 20:34

BB - yup no problem Night Night xx

OP posts:
SpringySponge · 06/04/2009 20:36

BB, you'll be kept updated by one of us, I'm sure.

Fingers crossed you get at least some sleep xx

conkertree · 06/04/2009 20:36

lol juw - so true.

mathshoneybunny27 · 06/04/2009 20:36

ha ha Juwes, you are right!

KittyCatIsGettingFat · 06/04/2009 20:43

Cheers BB! Enjoy your bath!

I'm off for one too - it's the only place I'm comfy these days... I'll check back before I got to bed!

conkertree · 06/04/2009 20:46

me too kitty - until i try and get out - the one thing i hate about this late stage (trying to look at the positives of all the other late pg niggles) is not being able to be comfy lying down.

Schulte · 06/04/2009 20:54

BB you're so funny with your DIYing... having a newborn at home and having to do the bathroom but at least once it's done you'll have a really nice room to relax in.

You bath ladies... how do you do it, do you lie on your backs? I find that really uncomfortable so I don't enjoy baths that much at the moment.

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 06/04/2009 21:05

Schulte - semi lieing semi sat it the only way to bathe (well for me it is)

OP posts:
thebluefoxategreensocks · 06/04/2009 21:06

Don't think I could enjoy baths either at the moment - maybe if I had an oversized one! lol But lying in bed is just about bad enough - still have this awful pulled muscle in my side, so can't find many positions to be comfortable in! Bed is OK when I'm shattered at midnight and fall immediately asleep - but can't cope with lying down during the day when I can't fall asleep straight away and not feel the pain!

PuzzleRocks · 06/04/2009 21:14

My bath is tiny. I keep getting stuck.

gingersarah · 06/04/2009 21:20

BB, little Karahan is truly gorgeous.
You sound very happy!

I am going to sleep now if I can - crap useless day today, hope to do better tomorrow. Good night all and GOOD LUCK labouring women,

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 06/04/2009 22:26

hello??? has everyone gone to bed??

OP posts:
thebluefoxategreensocks · 06/04/2009 22:30
