Bronze - I've got a Joseph and a Jacob and wanted Reuben, Levi or Elijah if I had a boy this time - DH didn't like any of them. Elijah was my favourite and was going to work on that until we found out it was a girl!

soon2befamilyof4 · 05/04/2009 23:17

springy - thats a bit how I feel. I was told by midwives I would probably be early, but hopefullly make it to 37 weeks AND by my date calculations, I should be due 2 weeks before the date given by the scan. So I feel overdue already - even though my official, scan due date is not till 22nd. So if I go 2 weeks overdue from that date - I think I will go mentally insane (and completely skint as the longer this baby stays in, the longer I can't childmind and so loose out on money.

bronze · 05/04/2009 23:19

John is middle name named after numerous relatives on both sides

I like Jeremiah (no chance)
Jodie.....hmm
Jeremy just plain dont like
Josh(ua) ok but very popular round here
Jake, same (and its os hard to comment withou insulting people ... I think it sounds a bit..common)
Jack- too popular
Jordan...same as Jodie
Jedd- did you get that off the redneck site?

sorry I'm awkward, thank you for trying though. and I hope I didnt hurt any feelings

bronze · 05/04/2009 23:20

Jacobs much nicer than Jake

but I have tolike both parts to a name for example I like Tom but not Thomas and soon

and its not that I actually have much dislike for loads of names just I dont want to call my child them.

bronze · 05/04/2009 23:22

Oh I'm crap....but dh is crapper

purlease · 05/04/2009 23:23

What about Elliott - I would see it as similar to some of your choices but maybe a bit more conservative.

mathshoneybunny27 · 05/04/2009 23:23

hi ladies, thanks for keeping me amused...can't sleep.

bronze · 05/04/2009 23:26

glad to be of service. I dont know what I'm doing still up. I need what sleep I can grab, I think I'm just too wound up (and coughing too much)

mathshoneybunny27 · 05/04/2009 23:29

oh bronze..sounds like you've had it today
((bronze))

chickaleggjac · 05/04/2009 23:30

hey there sexy bunny girls!
congratulations bleu - lovely name too!
barbarella - great to hear from you, hope you're well and the babies are fine
Good luck to the 3 of you in labour just now, thinking of you xxx
I've had a nice weekend DP was up, we had a tour of the midwife led unit where I'll have the baby. WOW!! It's so lovely. We were made to feel so welcome, got a tour round the place. There are 2 labour rooms, one has a huge birthing pool, huge bed and chair, the other has a smaller bed and an inflatable pool (it's a very quiet unit so 2nd room not often used)
They have 5 rooms for staying in once I have baby. All single rooms (yay not having to share!) and if it's quiet I have the choice of whether I would like smaller cosy room or larger room. Larger room has a little tv area with coffee table, chairs and TV!
I can stay anything from 6 hours to a few days depending on how I feel after the birth.
It all sounds so amazing and I feel so lucky that I'll be having the baby there.
Today DS's dad came over from Ireland. Tomorrow him and DS will fly back and DS will stay over there for easter holidays. Always fills me with mixed emotions, happy to be getting a break but sad, I'll miss him like hell. Even stranger this time as DS might return to a new baby, unless I go past due date.
Very strange.
Anyway that's pretty much what I was up to this weekend.
Hope you're all ok xxx

bronze · 05/04/2009 23:34

the unit sounds fantastic Trista
wish we had things like that around here.
Now you just have to go into labour...come on

chickaleggjac · 05/04/2009 23:35

I know, I'm trying bronze. Ha ha MW had me in the pool yesterday and everything (without water obviously) just letting me try it out to see what I thought of it.

mathshoneybunny27 · 05/04/2009 23:35

I'm jealous trista

not looking forward to the manky old hospital ward..............

chickaleggjac · 05/04/2009 23:40

Well to be totally honest, I'm not guaranteed it quite yet as it's only for low risk women and as they've been watching me like hawks, I may still get shoved into hospital. But MW was in to check me this morning and PE blood results had come back normal, BP was fine and only a trace of protein in my pee, so fingers are very much crossed for BP to stay low.
Hey MW said baby is really far down into my pelvis too! Woohoo for baby wriggling further down!

mathshoneybunny27 · 05/04/2009 23:41

ooooooow this is all in my back. yuck

chickaleggjac · 05/04/2009 23:44

how far apart are they now MM?

I hope there's someone there who can really do that

mathshoneybunny27 · 05/04/2009 23:54

yep, DH is here. Tricky to find beginning and end really. Back pain more or less constant and then bump spreads all over, sometimes 3 mins sometimes 6 or 7.

Taken some paracetamol, going to try and sleep for a bit.

Thanks for pom poms ladies, will keep u updated xx

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 05/04/2009 23:58

Bronze - no hurt feelings at all just throwing some j names out there xx

Chicka - ooooohhhh sounds lovely!! Yay for PE coming back normal and everything benig ok so far ((hugs)) its always hard being away from your children xxx

MM -ooh big hugs and back rubs to you xx

chickaleggjac · 05/04/2009 23:59

I'm off to bed now too, looking forward to catching up tomorrow.
Good luck everyone, happy pushing!!!
