PuzzleRocks · 03/04/2009 13:48

I'm feeling very 'dog in the manger' so i'm going to say have none.

SpringySponge · 03/04/2009 13:49

I'd always go for the shag. No matter how much it hurts afterwards.

I don't know why that's in the conditional tense

& Boff, love the 'hair rape'

Puzzle - shame on you for suggesting that MM is anything but pure & chaste

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 03/04/2009 13:50

depends on if you couldcope with it only being a shag hangover again if it doesnt bring on labour (which is a possibility)

BoeuffinMum · 03/04/2009 13:52

It probably has a lot to do with using blunt needlework shears on them, tbh. And a rather obvious lack of talent. I would probably do better with a Flymo.

chickaleggjac · 03/04/2009 13:52

well at least I will know what it is this time if I'm just left with hangover and no labour. I freaked out last week.
Think I'll go for the shagging

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 03/04/2009 13:55

very possible boff, my scissors could take your fingers off they are that sharp (i have scars in between my fingers to prove it)

SpringySponge · 03/04/2009 13:56

Am off out for the last few hospital bag things. Including jammies - otherwise I'm going to have serious trouble afterwards!

Speak later xx

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 03/04/2009 13:57

Have fun Springy xx

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 03/04/2009 14:02

wonder how lulu is getting on with her shiny new house.....

mathshoneybunny27 · 03/04/2009 14:08

Puzzle...I am lurking you know...

Whilst working on my shiny new project...a thing of beauty..a financial planing spreadsheet for maternity leave period (bearing in mind I have two jobs, it's pretty spectacular)

But seriously though..how do normal people negotiate the tax credits and SMP and child benefit and bills and crap? (I guess they just don't..) I just happen to love calculating this stuff, but I swear you need several maths degrees to understand the maternity pay system in the country...

(rant over..you may return)

BoeuffinMum · 03/04/2009 14:10

MM, you are right. I am good at calculating tax and accounts and high level stats and all sorts of things, but the maternity pay and child tax credit system baffles me. Says it all, really.

PuzzleRocks · 03/04/2009 14:11

That's not really a denial now is it MM.

Wouldn't know, have never been normal myself.

I am supposed to be working too.

mathshoneybunny27 · 03/04/2009 14:13

It annoys me no end Boff.

Back to the shagging though, I am now officially on a promise from DH (YES!) so fingers crossed for tonight..

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 03/04/2009 14:15

Mathsmummy

Tax Credits - Minefield they dont even know how they calculate it so we have no chance!!

Maternity Allowance - I'm not elligable apparently so dont need to go through that

Child benefit - regular each month, so easy.

but in relation to bills and things anything that comes in from the government to this house goes into a seperate account for everyday living as a back up rather than contributing to the bills directly.

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 03/04/2009 14:17

for all those on a promise tonight

NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 03/04/2009 14:26

BB Update - quick question am just on my way home from homebase. am having contractions every 6-8 mins or so they are over in 30-40 seconds. going to phone MW when i get home but does this sond like it?

I have told her to go home and phone the MW and rest as yes this is it!!

PuzzleRocks · 03/04/2009 14:30

Tell her to stay there until her waters break. Free power tools.

PuzzleRocks · 03/04/2009 14:31

Actually, if they are that close, I would be inclined to go straight to the hospital.

mathshoneybunny27 · 03/04/2009 14:32
NuttyBlowUpEasterBunny · 03/04/2009 14:37

Puzzle - Me too but i doubt she would listen to me if i told her to go there

LOL at free power tools

surprisenumber3 · 03/04/2009 14:44

I am poorly...have palpitations, feel sick, dizzy, fuzzy head, puffy hands, diarrhoea, really grumpy and loads of tightenings were I can't move and feel like a stabbing in my cervix. Am quite scared I feel so poorly

But excited for BB!

chickaleggjac · 03/04/2009 14:46

surprise - sorry you feel so bad, ring MW now and get her to come check BP please!

BabyBolat · 03/04/2009 14:47

What do you mean I wouldn't listen to you - tut tut

Just got home, am sat down (watch the little buggers stop now!)

Am on contraction master now so will keep you updated!!! Haven't had time to catch up so any news to fill me in on?

chickaleggjac · 03/04/2009 14:47

woohoo go BB

surprisenumber3 · 03/04/2009 14:48

I just checked it and it was 124/84, I did think it was that to be honest. My parents have taken the DS's out so was going to get a sleep but neighbours kids are quite loud in the garden, fair enough it's a nice day, they kicked the ball over too and were banging door to get it back but I couldn't answer but they know I'm in so
