...So every day after the grandmother?s death, first as a baby and then as a toddler and then as a little girl, the princess was shown the beautiful cloak. The princess marvelled at the cloak every day, enchanted by the intricate detail of the stitches, enthralled by the bits of feathers and leaves that her grandmother had attached to the cloak...

Was that just a tumbleweed I saw?...maybe if I chase after it I'll find Fivel...here mousey mousey mousey...

Then the day before her 10th birthday came and the princess was shown the beautiful cloak one last time and told that the great day that she had been waiting for all her life would occur; she would finally be able to put the beautiful cloak on...

Hmmm... the title of this thread suddenly means so much more to me now...

[Bleu makes flower crown for her hair]...[then makes a dozen or so more incase anyone else wants one...if they ever come back from their exciting RLs]

The morning of her 10th birthday the girl ran straight from her bed and put the beautiful cloak on. The cloak hugged her body like she imagined she grandmother would hug her if she were still alive...

Had to come and post on here to bring my BP back down. Don't know why but DS's are really winding me up since they came home. Poor things haven't even really done anything and I keep shouting at them

Asked DS1 (almost 10), to put magazines away off his floor so I could vacuum, he sat there making a right mess of it and it was all I could do not to boot his backside, I was actually standing there imagining doing it. I wouldn't of course but don't like having those thoughts

I think I might be cracking up - could burst into tears now.

Am so tired I could just fall asleep right here but need to stay awake for DD - sigh - she's sitting next to me watching Charlie & Lola but can't let her see another episode, she's been on the iplayer far too much recently.

Congrats to WFH and Clairey - lovely name, can't wait to hear both stories.

DH and I are having last minute doubts about the name we'd chosen which is a bit scary as I am not sure we'll make the right decision if we haven't got much time...

Anyone else feeling REALLY dehydrated all the time? It's starting to freak me out. My skin is all dry and wrinkly too.

Had terrible heartburn so had some Gaviscon and feel as sick as anything now, is it usually THAT gloopy! I really want my bed but have agreed to do some work tonight - about 3 hours worth and I can't start til DH home about 6
