LuLuBai · 25/03/2009 18:00

Perhaps Scotland's climate would suit DS better (although possibly not DH's career?)

As for babies, reckon Springy is shagging her DH rotten to move things along.

KittyCatIsGettingFat · 25/03/2009 18:01

Boff - thanks for the words of wisdom re BP! Hugs to you for your hubby's though... from what Ju says it sounds like he's getting OK treatment, and if anyone can sort out the NHS It's BoffinMum and BoffinDad...

Springy - Yippee for dilation and happy cervices!!! Well done darlin - keep it up!

BB - > for no labour signs yet... keep at that tea and bouncing on the ball, you're still in with a shot!

Everyone else - hope you're having a fab day!!

I've been chilling in bed watching sexy James Bond movies all day, and my BP is now at 108/75. Let's keep it that way for tomorrow and I'll be a happy homebirther...

Juwesm · 25/03/2009 18:31

towny06 · 25/03/2009 18:35

Thank you! We are having a boy. I am not feeling too bad actually, but starting to get pre-birth jitters!

BabyBolat · 25/03/2009 18:36

Oh cool - glad you are feeling ok - how have you found the pregnancy so far!

OP posts:
gingersarah · 25/03/2009 18:40

Hello
Lulu, I would not put up with that cat. You are a saint.
Auld - thinking positively for you. Something will come up.
Boff - sorry about the DH BP - I am sure they will soon get it under control.

I want a pg massage table at home! It has a hueg dent for lo and even dents for hueg pg norks. When you lie on your tummy it is such a relief to have your spine in a straight line it is a transporting experience even before they touch you.

all systems go for HB.

towny06 · 25/03/2009 18:45

No signs yet, but really wanting something to happen soon. The waiting is so hard! No problems in pregnancy so far - only a few days of morning sickness and a few headaches. I have been rather lucky! I am booked into the Royal Free in London as it is only 2 mins from us. Is there anyone else going there?

gingersarah · 25/03/2009 19:01

welcome Towny - get ready to reveal all - nothing too personal!

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 25/03/2009 19:13

Auld - huge ((hugs)) hopefuly something will come up for you soon > xxx

Towny06 -Welcome would you like to join our buddy system?? details at the start of the thread (i think?)

Kitty - yay for lower BP!!

Juw - love the cervix welding

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 25/03/2009 19:38

where have you all gone???

Juwesm · 25/03/2009 19:54

Woah, Nutty, you scared everyone away!

Did you have a nice nap?

PuzzleRocks · 25/03/2009 19:55

Evening all

I have been beavering again as I have my midwife coming round for the homebirth H&S assessment tomorrow.

Springy - Sounds like progress to me. You go lady!

Surprise - Hooray for good appointment. Don't worry too much about your baby being a whopper. They are not always right about the size.

Lulu - I shouldn't . The last two times I have been to the hairdressers I forgot my credit card. They were great about it both times. I also had to call up when I got home and explain that I had left my tip for someone who hadn't even done my hair. My poor colourist must have thought I was a right bitch at the time, giving her tip to someone who hadn't been near me.

Boff - I feel rather redundant. Great that we have Ju, eh? Can I just send you a most unMumsnet hug. Hopefully things will greatly improve healthwise for both you and DH when the baby arrives

KittyCatIsGettingFat · 25/03/2009 19:55

I'm still here Nutty! I'm busy plotting a line chart showing my BP readings from the past two days to show the MW when she comes to visit tomorrow... they haven't given me a time (and I won't get stressed out about it!! no I won't!!) so I'll be meditating in a state of calm all day, methinks...

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 25/03/2009 20:01

Juw - yep lovely nap thanks

Kitty - thats right calm thoughts ..... on a nice sandy beach lazing on a sunlounger being brought cocktails

Puzzle - you have a beaver addiction!!

Juwesm · 25/03/2009 20:01

Puzzle - do you know what they're going to do tomorrow? Do let us know what kind of questions they ask. My MW just gave me a list of stuff to provide, but they don't check up or anything. They'll just turn up at the appropriate time and hope everything is ready. To be fair, I suppose everything actually needed comes with them, all the stuff at my end () is really to make my life easier and more fool me if I'm not ready!

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 25/03/2009 20:03

Juw - do you have a lot of stuff then ...you know ....at your end

PuzzleRocks · 25/03/2009 20:04

Bleu - God bless that lady colleague.

Lulu - Love that image of your DD and her honeypot.

Towny06 - Welcome to the gang.

Juwesm · 25/03/2009 20:05

for Puzzle

Juwesm · 25/03/2009 20:06

God I was worried about typing that particular search into Google!
