Actually Smuts it's DH who loves beaver. I prefer trouser snakes.

Juwesm · 25/03/2009 20:06

My end is just packed with stuff Nutty, like you wouldn't believe!

Juwesm · 25/03/2009 20:07

Which makes it sound like you've been round with the welding torch!

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 25/03/2009 20:10

Puzzle - well dont beaver too much you may wear it away and your dh would be upset. trouser snakes are the best

Juw - lol not yet, do you want me to book you in for a blowtorch job?

Juwesm · 25/03/2009 20:12

Thanks Nutty, but I'm still satisfactorily plugged for now!

PuzzleRocks · 25/03/2009 20:12

Ju - I don't really know what to expect. I have everything on the list they gave me in case she does want to see.
Poor DH got home a shorti while ago after 3 hours in traffic and I started barking at him to hoover as she is coming at 9.30am.
I'll give you a rundown when she leaves.

Oh, and that's exactly what my beaver looks like.

Nutty - I definitely have a lot more junk in my trunk these days.

PuzzleRocks · 25/03/2009 20:13

I'm going to get something to eat now. Might be back later unless I decide to watch The Apprentice.

Tara for now.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 25/03/2009 20:15

Juw -

Puzzle - see you later

Juwesm · 25/03/2009 20:16

Nothing wrong with junk in the trunk. Girlfriend.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 25/03/2009 20:18

my junk filled trunk is spreading at an alarming rate lol

Juwesm · 25/03/2009 20:19

No-one appreciates a small trunk - no use to anyone!

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 25/03/2009 20:20

beavering away

KittyCatIsGettingFat · 25/03/2009 20:37

tee hee... beavering away...

Puzzle - if it makes you feel any better DH has just finished vacuuming the flat, cleaned the kitchen and bathroom from top to bottom, put the laundry in AND made me a cup of tea... all while I'm sitting on the couch with my feet up... it feels soooooo weird!

BoffinMum · 25/03/2009 20:40

Hello

Have changed proposed birthing rooms now and cleared out dining room ready for the Big Event!! Did nesting!! Moved out table and chairs (or more specifically got other people to do it while I sat there with arms folded) and so on. Now about to take DH out for a pint in an attempt to de-stress him.

Puzzle, you are not redundant, I love you too. You are my spare wife, remember??

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 25/03/2009 20:49

ooooohhhh its very exciting you homebirthers all preparing

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 25/03/2009 20:52

Boff - have fun at the pub xx

AuldAlliance · 25/03/2009 20:53

The pub!

Schulte · 25/03/2009 21:08

Oh no, feels like LO is trying to wiggle its way into my pelvis. Get out of there! It's way too early!

Where are you all - watching the apprentice? Well I'll be off to bed then

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 25/03/2009 21:11

Night Schulte xx

bronze · 25/03/2009 21:15

Im off to bed too. Will watch the rest of Grand designs. Can't stand that apprentice shite

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 25/03/2009 21:17

Night Bronze xx

conkertree · 25/03/2009 21:33

caught up - well this thread at least - havent tackled the end of the last one but think i've picked up the jist of whats going on.

hope your pub trip helps dh destress boffinmum - hope things can get better too once this lo arrives and you are back to your usual self.

springy - exciting stuff - my money is on sunday though - partly just cause no one has claimed it yet - partly cause i was 1 -2cm for a few days with ds. but as everyone says - all progress is good progress.

auld - wiah i had something useful to say but i dont really - just glad dh has sorted out the days so he will definitely be around. i know men sometimes feel a little redundant at births, but doesnt mean they actually are - cant imagine dh not being there.

lulu - sorry but your post about the peeing did make me laugh. bicarb certainly worked when ds was sick all over the sofa so hope it works on the carpet smell too.

hi to everyone else - dont want to make the post too long.

this lo is also burrowing today and kicking me in ways that made me stop a few times with the strength of them.

Juwesm · 25/03/2009 21:42

Suspiciously quiet round here this evening.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 25/03/2009 21:47

scary isnt it!!

Hey conker

conkertree · 25/03/2009 21:49

hi smutty - unlike bronze, i am quite pleased that the apprentice is back - bunch of not very nice people it seems as usual, but entertaining nonetheless.
