Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Juwesm · 27/03/2009 11:51

Trista - I reckon shag hangover plus shag-induced engagement!

Juwesm · 27/03/2009 11:53

Ooh, look at that, nearly lunchtime

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 27/03/2009 11:54

WFH - yay for the good appointment and the engagement well done for resisting the sweep too! admirable Have fun

tristaleejac · 27/03/2009 11:55

shagging is not on cards as of now then juw, although if it made baby come down a bit.....

surprisenumber3 · 27/03/2009 11:56

Hi WFH - no, it actually gets more frequent if I get up, and especially if I go for a wee!

tristaleejac · 27/03/2009 11:57

surprise it sounds like it's happening! good luck. DONT go away! Keep us posted at all times

surprisenumber3 · 27/03/2009 12:00

I will, I am sitting here working, couldn't possibly leave it in this mess! Working while reclining on the sofa with the laptop I hasten to add

No pain in bump or period pain though, just in my back, which have never had before. I think her back is against my back though as I can feel little ball shaped lumps moving all over my belly - would that make a difference? I know it would to delivery, but would it to labour?

Juwesm · 27/03/2009 12:01

is it me, or is there suddenly a lot of potential baby-action happening? I've lost track in all the excitement!

SpringySunshine · 27/03/2009 12:02

BB, I'm so pleased that it's your last day of work today. I think you're absolutely insane working for so long, (but am secretly quite impressed). Hopefully you can have the weekend to relax before popping out the baby right on cue on Monday.

What is it with you pregnant women & your car brakes failing? It'd be bad enough at any time, but now...!

& your poor DH I hope he feels a lot better soon (at least he can take proper medications!) - & any grumpiness with his colleague will disappear when you have the baby on Monday

Boff, on the topic of your herb farm & small farm shop, DH & I intend to run a tea shop in the future We're such rock & roll youths.

Big s for your DH. I still have nothing useful to offer, but it must be really horrible for you both & I wish there was something that I could say that would be useful / reassuring xx

WFH, at your DS & his 'babies don't like weekends'. That's useful to know

& haha at the King Canute likeness

I'll text frekkles in a minute, if you like? She's my buddy & I've been wondering where she is too, but figured she was probably just busy putting mirrors in her garden & stuff. Once I've posted this I'll go & fetch my phone

B52s - HURRAH!

Bleu, you had better be in labour - I want a new baby on the thread! [pouty]

Nutty, I shall definitely have some of those mini egs please

I'm a Sunday baby - good & gay.

LO is due on a Saturday. I doubt he'll work hard for a living, though. He has very lazy parents.

Boff, your DH won't get a 'rest' on paternity leave, but it'll be a different kind of stress. You & the baby will both be okay (no fears of dying in childbirth or anything like that, that they get in their heads) & he won't have a commute or official work to do. Of course there will be lots of other things, but I think that it'll be a bit easier on him. Especially as he's hardly a baby novice.

surprise, that sounds like it could be it. Get your bag packed on the off-chance

Nutty, at chopped liver. Just ignore Ju, she's used to talking to goats

Trista, it's good that you're feeling a bit better & you have a good idea what's causing it now - even if you can't do anything about it! Silly baby.

SpringySunshine · 27/03/2009 12:03

surprise, back-to-back labours cause a lot more back pain than 'normal' ones, yes. [excited]

Bleuravin · 27/03/2009 12:04

I'd say things seem to be rather active today Juw

My pains are definitely not easing... and while light, are fairly rythmic and constant...I'm not sure if I should take a bath or a nap...

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 27/03/2009 12:04
SmuttyNuttyTaff · 27/03/2009 12:05

Bleu - nap first and if you cant sleep then bath

surprisenumber3 · 27/03/2009 12:07

the bottom of my bump is hurting now, when my back does. Nothing bad, but I am aware of it, Still just the top going rock hard though.

I think maybe I'm reading too much into it, wishful thinking and all that

Bleu - take a bath and then a nap, it is so exiciting, April is just a few days to go, just think how many of us will have our babies within the months!!

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 27/03/2009 12:07

OOOOOOOHHHHHHH come on Suprise & Bleu!!!!!!!!

Babies!!! Babies!!!! Babies!!!!

WhatFreshHellIsThis · 27/03/2009 12:08

ps on the days of the week thing - DS was born on Easter Sunday, which I'm sure is like a Sunday squared or cubed or something, and he really is bonny (in my biased opinion, of course....) and blithe and good (ish....) and gay.

Both in the sense of generally a happy little chap, but also definitely going into show business when he's grown up! This is the boy who woke me up on holiday singing Abba songs in my ear..... Camp as a row of tents, already

surprisenumber3 · 27/03/2009 12:08

month!

AuldAlliance · 27/03/2009 12:08

e-mailed Frekkles a while ago. Will let you know if/when she replies.

Get the feeling that the threads over the next few weeks are going to be a series of "is this it?" posts...

DS has just said he wants to marry me and that he fought a little boy at school today over who had the nicest Mummy. Am storing up these little moments to keep me going when the baby is tiny and I need things to look forward to.

Thanks Minush. I have to say I haven't come across many people who think moving to Marseille with 2 wee kids is a good idea . Most of my colleagues moved out once they became parents.

His boss is indeed a complete wanker. I began explaining some of the reasons he terminated DH's contract, but they are so petty they are not worth the space they were taking up. Refusing to forge the boss's signature on documents (including the work of others (e.g. DH) for which boss was taking credit) was apparently the really unacceptable one.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 27/03/2009 12:09

i'm still gonna be here in may

Bleuravin · 27/03/2009 12:09

lol WFH

WhatFreshHellIsThis · 27/03/2009 12:10

Auld your DS sounds so lovely! DS told me Mummy was beautiful and lovely the other day, made me go all soppy.

And he just had his hair cut and looks unbelievably cute - he has a round head like a pea when he's just been trimmed.

Must go and stop being soppy, quick.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 27/03/2009 12:11

WFH - how fantastic to be woken by abba talented boy!!

Auld - Awwwwwww your ds is too cute

WhatFreshHellIsThis · 27/03/2009 12:12

It was 'Mamma mia, here I go again, my my, how can I resist you, Mamma mia, does it show again, my my, just how much I missed you' over and over again

surprisenumber3 · 27/03/2009 12:13

aahh, DS's are so loving aren't they. Last night I had both of them sitting on the sofa with me, the big one had my legs on his lap (he is nearly 10), and the little one was rubbing my belly and singing 'I like to move it, move it' to the baby (he is 5). Was quite heart warming. Hope DD's are as cuddly! DH is hoping they are as the DS's just like to playfight with him now, no cuddle time!

WhatFreshHellIsThis · 27/03/2009 12:13

Really must go now or we'll miss the film
